Nicky Saacks

Nicky Saacks is an experienced educator currently serving as an IB Diploma Biology and MYP Science Educator at Sotogrande International School since January 2024. Previously, Nicky held various roles at Rallim Pre I Prep I Secondary from January 2021 to January 2024, including Head of Grade 10 and Science Educator, with responsibilities as Head of Department for Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Natural Sciences. Nicky's background includes a research internship at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital and a Laboratory Demonstrator position at the University of Cape Town. Nicky has also worked as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language and held positions in various educational and laboratory settings. Nicky's extensive education includes several master's degrees in fields such as Psychology, Cardiovascular Genetics, and Bioinformatics, as well as a Bachelor of Medical Science Honours in Biomedical Science, among other qualifications.
