J. Mason Thomas

J. Mason Thomas, MPA, currently serves as the Director of Research for the Family & Veterans' Services Committee in the South Carolina Senate since August 2018, actively contributing to various committees including the SC Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children and the State Suicide Prevention Coalition. Prior experience includes roles as Performance Auditor at the South Carolina Legislative Audit Council and multiple director positions within the South Carolina Senate. J. Mason Thomas also held the position of Legislative Liaison and Project Manager at the SC Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.
