Bhaskar Chandan

Bhaskar Chandan is a highly experienced air quality engineering manager with extensive expertise in engineering and permitting. Currently serving as the Senior Air Quality Engineering Manager at South Coast Air Quality Management District since September 2001, Bhaskar Chandan oversees the Refinery Team and manages a dedicated group of engineers and professionals. Prior to this role, Bhaskar Chandan held positions such as Supervising Air Quality Engineer and Project Manager at Smith Engineering Company, where responsibilities included project management related to air pollution control equipment and budget maintenance. Bhaskar Chandan's earlier experience includes senior engineering roles at Carnot, Sierra Environmental Engineering, and Ensotech, where contributions spanned from emissions inventory reporting to the design of pollution control systems. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University and certifications in Air Quality Management and Project Management from UC Irvine and University of California, Riverside, respectively.
