Keena Melville

Keena Melville, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Lucas P. Wintrode Autism Support Services at South Dakota State University since August 2024. Additionally, Keena Melville operates as an Autism Education Consultant and Literacy Interventionist at Keen Education since July 2022. Previous roles include MTSS Interventionist & Digital Manager at Coral Academy of Science-Reno from August 2023 to August 2024, Literacy Specialist and Curriculum Developer at The Helix School from October 2014 to July 2022, Head Teacher at Magic Cottage from September 2010 to September 2014, School Counselor at the School of Diplomacy from September 2006 to June 2009, and Long Term Substitute Teacher at New York City Public Schools from September 2005 to June 2008. Keena Melville holds a Ph.D. in Literacy, Literacy, and Special Education, as well as a Master's degree in School Counseling, both from St. John's University, along with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature.
