Kathryn Nye is an experienced professional in the water industry with a strong background in operations improvement, process science, and land surveying. Currently serving as Operations Improvement Manager at South East Water UK since June 2020, Kathryn leads a newly established team focused on enhancing the Operations Department through the implementation of improvement programs related to policies, procedures, site documentation, and contingency plans. Previously, Kathryn held the role of Production Manager, overseeing 11 water treatment works and reservoirs in the West Sussex region, and managed a team of 13 Process Technicians while ensuring compliance with performance outcomes and regulatory standards. Earlier positions at Southern Water included Principal Process Scientist and Process Scientist, where Kathryn provided technical leadership and managed teams to optimize water quality and treatment processes.
