Steffan Pierre

Steffan Pierre has over a decade of experience in environmental and educational roles. Currently serving as an Environmental Analyst at the South Florida Water Management District since March 2021, Steffan has led data collection and managed hydrological monitoring stations since 2016. Previous experience includes working as an Environmental Specialist at Archbold Biological Station, where water quality monitoring was a key responsibility, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida, conducting biology labs and evaluating course migrations to online formats. Steffan's earlier positions included teaching Environmental Science and Biology at St Joseph’s Convent High School and various roles at Colgate University, including IT support and alumni affairs. Steffan holds a Master of Science in Environmental Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography/Biology.
