Jose Vega is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment management and treasury management. Currently serving as Co-Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager at South Street Securities LLC since May 2005, Vega's responsibilities include managing portfolio interest rate risk and pricing credit to enhance shareholder value. Prior to this role, Vega held the position of Vice President at RBC, where contributions to profitable trading and global asset management were pivotal. Additional experience includes roles as Vice President in the Fixed Income Division at Fuji Securities Inc. and at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where involvement in establishing the Short Term Arbitrage group occurred. Vega began the professional journey at Citi, trading and managing a significant portfolio in the Global Finance Group. Vega holds a BS in Finance/Information Systems from Fairfield University.
