Stephanie Niemi-DeHerrera MA.FP is an experienced professional in mental health and criminal justice services. Currently serving as the Director at South Valley Services since November 2023, Stephanie oversees shelter services, a children's learning center, and a 24/7 crisis line. Prior to this role, Stephanie worked at Salt Lake County as a Presentence Investigation/Report Writer, supporting clients in alternatives to incarceration while addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Experience also includes serving as Program Manager at Valley Behavioral Health, Patient Care Coordinator at Equitable Life & Casualty, Case Manager at the Utah Department of Corrections, and Youth Mental Health Worker at Cottonwood Treatment Center. Stephanie holds a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University, completed between 2012 and 2014, and previously studied at Salt Lake Community College from 2009 to 2012.
