Craig Barry

Craig Barry is an experienced professional in the mining and engineering sectors, currently serving as a Study Manager and Manager of Project Strategy and Performance at South32 since September 2021. Prior to this role, Craig held various managerial positions at Barrick Gold Corporation from February 2015 to May 2021, including Manager of Engineering Controls for the Goldrush Underground project and Operational Excellence Manager. Craig also served as Director of Operations for Africa at Viewpoint Mining / Meyvn Africa, Mining Production Manager at Swakop Uranium and Kumba Iron Ore, and Projects Engineer at multiple organizations including Airports Company South Africa and BMW Group South Africa. Craig holds a Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
