Humberto Andrade

Humberto Andrade is an accomplished process engineer with extensive experience in the chemical and alumina refining industries. Currently serving as a Process Engineer at South32 since September 2018, Humberto's prior roles include Chemical Process Engineer at Qenos and various process engineering positions at Alcoa, BHP Billiton, and Rio Tinto Alcan. Humberto has demonstrated expertise in process modeling, safety risk reduction, and performance evaluation across multiple facilities and projects, including the implementation of advanced control strategies and process improvements. Humberto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco and a Technician degree in Chemistry from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco.
