Duncan Fearnhead

Duncan Fearnhead is an experienced football professional with a focus on youth development and coaching. Currently serving as the Academy Manager at Southampton Football Club since October 2024, Duncan leads the Academy programme to nurture and develop talent. Prior to this role, Duncan was the Academy Manager at Accrington Stanley Football Club Ltd from May 2012 to October 2024, where responsibilities included developing the Academy Performance Plan and overseeing player transitions. Previous positions include Academy Head of Coaching, Foundation Phase Lead Coach, and various coaching roles across multiple clubs including Burnley Football Club, Blackburn Rovers Football Club, and a brief experience with Paris Saint-Germain. Duncan's career began in education as a Cover Supervisor and Sports Coach, highlighting a strong foundation in planning and delivering effective coaching programmes.
