Dan Faketty

Dan Faketty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in loss prevention and asset protection within the retail industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Asset Protection at Southeastern Grocers since 2005, Dan oversees security strategies for one of the largest supermarket chains in the U.S., which includes brands such as Winn-Dixie, BI-LO, and Harveys. Prior to this, Dan held the position of Vice President of Loss Prevention at Harris Teeter from 1999 to 2005, managing operations for over 220 stores across several states. Dan's career also includes roles as Director of Loss Control at Kmart Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing 102 Super-Centers, and Regional Loss Prevention Manager at Shopko, which operates 344 stores. Dan holds a degree in Criminal Justice and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University.
