Neil Songer

Neil Songer, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Area Manager at Southern Bank and Trust Company, a position held since March 2013. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President and Branch Manager/Business Banker at PNC from November 2008 to March 2013, Vice President and Mortgage Originator at Gateway Bank from October 2006 to November 2008, and Mortgage Consultant at Dare Mortgage from April 2005 to October 2006. Earlier career experience also includes serving as Vice President and Licensed Financial Specialist at Wachovia Bank from November 2002 to April 2005. Neil Songer holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University. Additionally, Neil Songer participated in the North Carolina Banking Association from 2016 to 2019.
