Richard Howe

Richard Howe is an experienced educator and law enforcement professional with a diverse academic background. Currently serving as an Online Adjunct Instructor at Southern New Hampshire University since November 2014, Richard specializes in Criminal Justice and Justice Studies while also contributing as a subject matter expert for new course development. Prior to this role, Richard gained extensive leadership experience as the Chief of Police for the Town of Tyngsborough from January 2013 until retirement in October 2024. Richard holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law and Master's degrees in Public Administration and Criminal Justice Administration from Kaplan University and Western New England University, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England University and a Computer Support Specialist Certificate from Boston University.
