Minjon Tholen is chief inclusion and strategic innovation officer at Amnesty International USA, the country’s leading grassroots human rights organization. She is responsible for advancing holistic organizational change toward inclusion and innovation in both the internal culture and external human rights activism. Tholen was previously a senior consultant at Cook Ross, a leading consulting firm specializing in organizational transformation and management of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Born in Sri Lanka and raised in the Netherlands, Tholen holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Utrecht and a master’s degree in gender and women’s studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
