Ron Cofield

Ron Cofield has extensive experience in leadership and mentoring roles, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at SouthState Bank and as an Instructor, Mentor, and Placement at City of Refuge, Inc. Since 2018, Ron has consulted and provided freelance instruction for the State of Alabama Joint Legislative Task Force for the Response to the TCJA. A significant portion of Ron's career was spent at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1980 to 2018, culminating in the positions of U.S. Assurance Learning & Development Leader and Market Managing Partner for the Carolinas, where responsibilities included developing Assurance L&D strategies and overseeing the Assurance practice across multiple markets. Ron holds a B.S. in Accounting from Auburn University.
