Joni Edwards

Joni Edwards has extensive experience in Human Resources, currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Southwest General Health Center since May 2008, after progressing from the roles of Director and Employment Manager. In these positions, Joni has been responsible for developing and implementing effective HR strategies, overseeing operations such as Volunteer Services, and managing talent. Prior to returning to Southwest General Health Center, Joni held the position of Human Resource Manager at CommuniCare Health Services, overseeing HR functions for over 400 employees across three facilities. Additionally, Joni has experience as an HR Project Manager and Coordinator at Southwest General Health Center, where skills in project management and policy administration were developed. Joni holds an MBA in Human Resources from Baldwin Wallace University and a BSH in Health Services Administration from Ohio University.
