Harvey Scribner

Harvey Scribner is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in power systems and transmission planning. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer at Southwest Power Pool since June 1998, responsibilities have included R&D and special studies, independent coordination of transmission planning, and technical studies and modeling. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at Public Service Company of Oklahoma, Senior Engineer at Central & Southwest Services, and Engineer III at Central Power and Light Company. Education includes a Master of Science in Management and Human Relations from Abilene Christian University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Additionally, contributions to industry projects include advising on the reliability impact of large-scale wind generation through the Electric Power Research Institute.
