Sasha Wizansky is an accomplished editor and graphic designer with extensive experience in various creative roles. Currently serving as the Editor at Pencil Magazine since January 2024, Sasha has been an integral part of Bartlett Books as a graphic designer, art director, and illustrator since 2001, providing independent design services to a diverse clientele including nonprofits and individual entrepreneurs. Additionally, since January 2002, Sasha has worked as a Design and Communications Consultant for SHI, offering graphic design and consulting services. Notably, Sasha was the publisher, editor-in-chief, and art director for Meatpaper from 2006 to 2013, a distinguished quarterly journal celebrated for its original artwork and journalism. Previous experience includes design work at Big Think Studios and design and production roles at Salon.com. Sasha holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Sculpture from California College of the Arts and a Bachelor's Degree in The History and Art of Books from Harvard University.
