Thomas Ricklefs

Thomas (T.J.) Ricklefs is an experienced Chief Perfusionist at SpecialtyCare, Inc. since August 2010, specializing in adult cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), adult, pediatric, and neonatal extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), aortic balloon pump (IABP), hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), and ventricular assist devices (VADs). Prior to this role, T.J. served as a perfusionist at NorthShore University HealthSystem from July 2009 to August 2010 and held the position of Chief Perfusionist at Coastal Extracorporeal Alliance from September 2004 to July 2009. T.J. earned a Certificate in Perfusion Technology/Perfusionist from the University of Iowa (1996-1998) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iowa State University (1992-1996).
