Richard Eccles

Richard Eccles is a seasoned solicitor with extensive experience in EU and UK competition law. Currently a Partner at Spencer West LLP since December 2022 and a Consultant at Alden Legal since December 2021, Richard previously served as a Consultant Solicitor at Bird & Bird LLP until April 2024. Richard's career began at Theodore Goddard, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Assistant Solicitor, followed by a role as Solicitor at Aaron & Partners. At CMS Cameron McKenna, Richard advanced from Assistant Solicitor to Partner, providing legal advice in Brussels and London between 1989 and 2002. Richard holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Oxford, achieved in 1982.
