Ishan Basyal

Ishan Basyal is an accomplished space technology professional with extensive experience in program delivery and spacecraft systems. Currently serving as the Director of Program Delivery at SpeQtral since June 2022, Ishan previously worked at SES Satellites from November 2015 to June 2022, where responsibilities included designing and developing next-generation O3B satellites and working on innovative satellite projects. Ishan's background includes a master’s thesis at Airbus Defence and Space, internships at Swedish Institute of Space Physics and OHB System, and consulting for the Ministry of Science and Technology in Nepal. Ishan holds multiple master's degrees in space technology and science from institutions such as MIT Sloan Executive Education, Luleå University of Technology, Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, and The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, alongside a bachelor's degree from Jacobs University Bremen.
