Roelf Postema

Roelf Postema is a highly experienced surgeon currently serving as a Consultant Surgeon at Het Van Weel-Bethesda Ziekenhuis and Spijkenisse Medisch Centrum since 2020 and 2013, respectively. Roelf holds additional roles as a Fellow at the Royal Society of Medicine, Internal Clinician at BSI, Advisor to the editor at Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Geneeskunde, and member of the Editorial Board for the Nederlands Tijdschrift voor Heelkunde. A commitment to education is evident through tutoring General Practitioners in training at Erasmus MC. Research efforts are concentrated in the department of Surgery at VUmc and as a Doctoral Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft. Roelf has also held the presidency of the Lions Club Swindregt Were te Zwijndrecht en Hendrik Ido Ambacht since 2014. Educational qualifications include degrees in Medicine and specialized training in Pediatric and General Surgery at various prestigious institutions.
