Fabián Varela

Fabián Varela is an experienced VFX professional currently serving as VFX Resources Manager at SPIN VFX since June 2022, where responsibilities include establishing project meetings and monitoring resource projections. Previously, Fabián worked as a VFX Producer at Ghost VFX and Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies, focusing on client relations, budget management, resource forecasting, and project scheduling. As a Founder of Reimagined Media, Fabián provided 360 and VR production services and has coordinated production efforts at Technicolor and as an Executive Producer on a documentary project with Curiara Films. Additionally, Fabián has academic experience as an Associate Professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito and as an Invited Professor at Universidad de los Andes (VE). Education includes a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Business Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Media, TV Film Studies from Universidad de los Andes Mérida.
