Arthur Franken

Arthur Franken is a seasoned private equity investor with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as General Partner and Director at Gilde Healthcare since March 2001. As a founding team member of Gilde, Arthur has held various investment roles, including Investment Director and Associate. Presently, Arthur is on the boards of several companies, including SpliceBio, Noema Pharma, Levicept Ltd, and Moximed, focusing on innovative drug therapies and medical technology. Notable past board roles include Calypso Biotech and Breath Therapeutics, both of which were acquired for substantial deal values. Arthur holds a Master of Science in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University.
