Alan Gibson

Alan Gibson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the VP of Technology at Springshare since January 2024 and the Chief Technology Officer at Patron Point since February 2023, Alan previously held the position of Vice President of Data Analytics at Baker & Taylor, Bridgeall Libraries Ltd from March 2022 to February 2023. Alan's career at Bridgeall Libraries Ltd also includes roles as Director of Operations and Project Management, and Development and Service Delivery Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as Development & Service Delivery Manager at Bridgeall Ltd and Technical Delivery Manager at HBOS, as well as other key positions at JP Morgan and Standard Life Assurance Company. Alan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry from The Open University and has a foundational education from Heriot-Watt University.
