Anne Sempowski Ward

Anne Sempowski Ward is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in executive roles spanning various industries, including beauty, consumer goods, and media. Currently serving as Chairwoman and CEO of CURiO Brands, Anne has successfully transformed the company into a high-growth, vertically integrated portfolio. In addition to leadership at CURiO Brands, Anne is the owner of the Chicago Sky WNBA team and holds independent board director positions at SPS Commerce and Vanda Pharmaceuticals. A strategic advisor to The Lip Bar Inc., Anne has also contributed to Spectrum Brands and co-founded The FORWARD Group. Previous roles include President and COO of Johnson Publishing Company and positions at The Coca-Cola Company and Procter & Gamble. Anne's educational background includes an MBA from Duke University and a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science from Duke University, along with training in board directorship from Stanford University.
