Joseph J. Corasanti, Esq., is the vice chairperson of SRC’s board of trustees.
Corasanti is the former president and chief executive officer at CONMED (CNMD: NASDAQ). During his tenure, he led a vertically integrated surgical device company specializing in orthopedic products and general surgical products. His accomplishments at CONMED include: more than doubling revenue (from $336M to $763M), increasing stock price (from $13 to $50 per share), consolidating facilities to reduce production costs by $48M, successfully acquiring eight businesses, and achieving impressive financial results for growth and earnings. In 2014, the company had a market cap of $1.4 billion, 3,400 employees in 17 countries, 51% of sales from markets outside the United States, and top market share in its industry.
In addition to his membership on the SRC board of trustees, Corasanti is a member of the IIVI (IIVI: NASDAQ) board, serving as the Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee and Audit Committee. He is also a member of the College Council at the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute.
