Shafqat Bashir

Shafqat Bashir is an experienced professional in information technology and e-governance, currently serving as General Manager (ICCC) at Srinagar Smart City since October 2024. Prior to this role, Shafqat held the position of Head of Information Technology at Fortress Infracon Limited, where responsibilities included conceptualizing and implementing IT solutions. Shafqat’s extensive background includes roles as an ICT Infrastructure Specialist at Rodic Consultants Private Limited and Project Director at Presto Infosolutions Pvt Ltd. As an Independent Consultant, Shafqat provided e-Gov consultancy and functional consultancy for Enterprise Project Management implementations. Shafqat also served as Principal Consultant and Head SeMT at NISG, offering e-Gov consultancy to the Government of J&K, and worked as Program Manager at Jadian Enterprises, managing project delivery and client relationships. Shafqat began their career as a Project Lead at Sierra Atlantic and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Sciences from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
