Altynay Bekmurat

Altynay Bekmurat is a Staff Consultant at SRK Consulting since February 2022, previously holding the position of Junior Geotechnical Consultant focused on tailings. Prior experience includes working as an Analyst at BI Group from August 2020 to January 2022 and as a Coordinator at BI DEVELOPPEMENT from August 2019 to August 2020, where responsibilities involved organizing services, automating CRM systems, and managing client correspondence. Altynay also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Nazarbayev University for a brief period in 2019 and completed an internship as a Geologist at Altyntau Resources JSC in June 2018. Earlier roles include leading specialist at a medical university, a legal intern, and supervisor for EXPO Astana 2017 volunteers. Altynay holds a Master's degree in Mining Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Nazarbayev University, alongside participation in the International Summer School on Regulation of Local Public Services at the Turin School of Regulation.
