Yonglian Sun

Yonglian Sun is a highly experienced professional in the mining engineering field, currently serving as a Partner and Corporate Consultant at SRK Consulting since February 2005, where responsibilities include managing mining due diligence and engineering studies, as well as leading environmental compliance reviews. Prior roles include Managing Director and Principal Consultant at SRK Consulting Australia Pty Ltd, and Senior Consultant positions at multiple organizations, including Pells Sullivan Meynink Pty Ltd and Southern Peru Copper Corporation. Yonglian Sun began an academic career as an Associate Professor and Lecturer at China University of Mining and Technology, complemented by research roles at WA School of Mines and the University of Wollongong. Educational qualifications include multiple Ph.D. degrees in Mining Engineering from both the China University of Mining and Technology and West Virginia University, alongside Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the China University of Mining and Technology.
