Jonas Svantesson

Jonas Svantesson is a proficient researcher and project manager currently working at SSAB since January 2021. Previously, Jonas held the position of PhD student in Materials Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from August 2018 to December 2020, focusing on refractory wear by high-FeO slags. Jonas completed a master's thesis at Sandvik Coromant in 2018, exploring the interactions between textured alumina coatings and steel, and also gained experience at Sandvik and Värmex AB in various technical roles. Educationally, Jonas holds a master's degree in Materials Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, obtained in 2018.
