Gordon Smith

Gordon Smith currently serves as a Solutions Architect at SSE plc since September 2024, following a brief tenure as an Enterprise Architect at EnBW Trading GmbH. Previously, Gordon held the position of Trading System Functional Architect at PetroChina International for four years and was contracted as a Trading System Architect at Innogy SE, focusing on a Greenfield Allegro implementation. Additional experience includes a role as Trading System Implementation Functional Lead at SSE plc, Contract Consultant for Everis/Trafigura, and various consultancy positions at Gazprom and RWE Trading. Gordon's career began with consultancy work at BP, leading integration design for market risk systems. Gordon holds a BEng 2(i) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
