Marie-Pierre Pluvinage

Marie-Pierre Pluvinage has over 30 years of experience in the satellite and telecommunications industries. Marie-Pierre currently serves as Director at SSPI.

Pluvinage began their career in 1981 as Marketing at Hewlett-Packard. Marie-Pierre then moved to INTELSAT where they worked on the Intelsat VI Program Office from 1981 to 1983. From there, they became Assistant Space Attache at CNES from 1986 to 1999. In 1999, they joined Europe*Star as Corporate Communications and held that position until 2002.

In 2006, Pluvinage joined Televate, LLC as PR and Marketing. Marie-Pierre then left Televate in 2008 to join the Satellite Industry Association (SIA) as Director of Communications, a position they held until 2013.

Pluvinage is a graduate of the Sorbonne University in Paris.

Marie-Pierre Pluvinage holds a Bachelors of Science in International Business Marketing from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Baccalaureat in Economics from Lycee Rochambeau. Marie-Pierre also attended Maret School.
