Samantha Hanson

Samantha Hanson is currently a trustee at St. Catherine University. Samantha has previously worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Children's Minnesota from May 2014 to November 2017. In their role as CHRO, Samantha was responsible for leading the Children's Way culture transformation, which linked the experience of the workforce to the experience delivered to patients and families. Samantha successfully designed and implemented strong people strategies which resulted in an extraordinary workforce engagement that was full 22% higher than the industry average, as well as high retention rates and the ability to attract national talent to build out destination programs. These efforts resulted in delivering an exceptional clinical and care experience that was central to differentiating this health system in a highly competitive market.

Samantha Hanson completed their undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Minnesota. Samantha is currently enrolled in a public administration masters program at the University of North Florida and has completed coursework in the program.
