Adam Hoang

Adam Hoang is a Director at ST. CLAIR COLLEGE. Adam was previously a Senior Technical Specialist at AlphaKOR Group from August 2019 to June 2021. In this role, they acted as the lead technician for advanced-level IT projects for small (1-50 users), medium (50-500 users) and large (500+ users) businesses within Windsor and Essex County. Adam also performed ongoing network and security hardening processes for clients in their environment, and provided emergency cybersecurity support for customers who encountered ransomware and malware security breaches.

Adam also performed timely administration using concise technical writing techniques that provided the customer and internal staff with professional documentation.

Previously, Adam was a Network Administrator at Kinectrics from December 2017 to August 2019.

Adam Hoang's educational career includes completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Technology Management (BTM) from Ryerson University, an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Technology - Networking from St. Clair College, and a Computer Systems Technology (Networking) diploma from St. Clair College. Adam also holds certification from GlobalKnowledge PH Inc in PLANNING AND DEPLOYING SYSTEM CENTER 2012 CONFIGURATION MANAGER and Cisco in Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching). In addition, they have completed courses on Configuration Management and the Cloud from Coursera and Git for System Administration from LinkedIn.
