Lauren Travis

Lauren Travis, MPH, CIC, currently serves as the Division Director of Infection Prevention at St. David's HealthCare, a position held since October 2018, previously acting as Infection Prevention Manager. From October 2016 to September 2018, Lauren was an Infection Preventionist at Infection Prevention & Management Associates, where responsibilities included leading Infection Control Committee meetings, performing surveillance for healthcare-associated infections, and providing education to healthcare workers and patients. Earlier experience includes work with Harris County Public Health, developing community research tools and facilitating health demonstrations. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from San Diego State University.
