Amy Loret

Amy Loret is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Resident Physician at Providence since May 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Associated Students of the University of Utah, where responsibilities involved mentoring over 90 board members and enhancing outreach and wellness initiatives. Amy also contributed as an Assistant News Desk Editor for The Daily Utah Chronicle, focusing on editing, writing, and training news writers, in addition to covering local events. Previous experience encompasses a YouthCity Government Internship with the Salt Lake City Corporation and a Resident Advisor position at the University of Utah Housing and Residential Education, where a leadership program was developed to address community issues. With a solid foundation in research, Amy worked as an undergraduate researcher in genetics and neuroscience, supplemented by leadership roles in academic organizations and teaching assistance in chemistry. Amy holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology, alongside minors in Ethnic Studies and Psychology from the University of Utah.
