Arooj Simmonds

Arooj Simmonds serves as the Chief Medical Officer for the North Division and Regional Chief Medical Officer for PSR at Providence since March 2022. Prior to this, Arooj Simmonds was affiliated with US Anesthesia Partners from July 2011 to March 2022, holding various positions including Board Member, Anesthesiologist, and Clinical Governance Board Member. Additionally, Arooj Simmonds worked at Swedish between October 2016 and March 2022, where roles included Executive Medical Director of Surgical Services - Anesthesia, Medical Director of Perioperative Services, and Medical Director of the Swedish Preadmission Clinic. Arooj Simmonds earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine (2001-2006), completed further training at Virginia Mason Medical Center (2007-2010), and holds a Bachelor's degree from Tufts University (1995-1999).
