Rick Alden

Rick Alden is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the action sports industry. As the Founder of Skullcandy, Inc. since 2003, Alden has significantly impacted the audio market. Additionally, Alden co-founded Stance Socks in January 2010, contributing to innovative sock designs. Earlier career milestones include serving as a Product Development Specialist at Orvis from 1997 to 1999, where responsibilities included developing rods, reels, fly lines, leaders, and tippets. In 1995, Alden co-founded Device Development Corp, pioneering the first step-in snowboard boot and binding system. Furthermore, Alden was a co-founder of National Snowboard Inc. from 1986 to 1994, focusing on snowboarding events and marketing. Alden holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, obtained between 1986 and 1992.
