Sayuri Govender

Sayuri Govender has extensive experience in finance spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Chief Finance and Value Management Officer (CFVO) to the COO at Standard Bank Group since February 2012, Sayuri has held notable roles including Head of Group Reporting & Analytics and Head of PBB Central Finance. Prior experience includes a five-year stint as Financial Manager at Regent Insurance and a finance trainee position at SABMiller. Sayuri began a career in finance as an Audit Clerk at PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited from January 2002 to July 2005. Sayuri holds a BComm Hons (Accounting) degree from the University of Natal and is pursuing the CA (SA) designation through SAICA, expected to be completed by December 2024.
