The Firm pursues a single strategy of opportunistic investing in levered middle-market companies. Standard General seeks out event-driven special situations that are undergoing significant changes or disruptions and has the ability to invest across the capital structure in both publically traded and private entities.  Standard General has been a SEC-registered Investment Adviser since 2009.
