Evan Rigg

Evan Rigg is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Instrument Development Systems Engineering Lead at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences since June 2024. In addition, Rigg is an active Member of the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) Mirror Committee for ISO/TC 121/SC 3, contributing expertise in functional near-infrared spectroscopy optical testing from prior experiences. Previous roles include Hardware Lead and Test Engineer at Axem Neurotechnology, Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Ultra Maritime, Mechanical Engineering Design Lead with the Dalhousie Supermileage Motorsport Team, Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Ultra Electronics Maritime Systems, and Co-op Engineer at Pratt & Whitney Canada. Rigg holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, earned between 2015 and 2020.
