Alisha Garcia

Alisha Garcia is an experienced professional in athletic and recreational facilities management, currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Director at Stanford University since August 2015, with prior roles including Director of Recreation and Aquatics Facilities and Director of Facilities at multiple centers. Alisha has been actively involved with Alpha Xi Delta as a volunteer Area Facilitator and Chapter Advisor since January 2010. Previously, Alisha worked as the Aquatics Director at YMCA Silicon Valley and as a swim coach at The Harker School. Alisha's career began as a Recreation Assistant with Morale, Welfare & Recreation in 2007. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fresno, and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Physical Education from Fresno Pacific University.
