Darren Hsieh

Darren Hsieh serves as the Global Head of Business Development & Partnerships at Skycatch since September 2016 and has been a Stanford Alumni Mentor since January 2020. With extensive experience across various sectors including AI/ML, healthcare, retail, DevOps, logistics, and sustainability, Darren has acted as a private investor and advisor since 2006. Previous roles include Vice President of Business Development at Matroid, Inc. (2020-2021), VP of OEM Sales at Bridgelux, Inc. (2010-2016), and Strategic Account Business Development Lead at Applied Materials (2006-2010). Darren's career began as an M&A Associate at Ernst & Young and as Head of Business Development at a stealth mode startup. Educational background includes an MS in Business & Strategy and current studies as a MS/PhD candidate in Materials Science at Stanford University.
