Ivo Bolsens

Ivo Bolsens is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in advanced research and development. Since February 2022, Ivo has served as Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Research and Advanced Development at AMD. Additionally, Ivo has been a member of the Board of Directors for EvoNexus since March 2018, contributing to the growth of California's leading startup technology incubator. Ivo's long-standing involvement with imec, beginning in 1984, includes roles such as Member of the Advisory Board and Vice-President of Embedded Systems. Previously, Ivo held senior leadership positions at Xilinx, including Senior Vice President of Advanced R&D and CTO, and made significant contributions to various technology startups and organizations. Ivo holds a Master's and PhD in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
