Raul Camposano

Raul Camposano is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Stanford University since April 2018, Camposano is also a Partner at Silicon Catalyst, an incubator dedicated to semiconductor solutions, since April 2015. Notable past roles include Chief Technology Officer at Silvaco Inc. and CEO at Sage Design Automation, a company acquired by Applied Materials, where Camposano led advancements in design automation. Additional positions include CEO at Nimbic, President and CEO at Xoomsys, and various leadership roles at Synopsys from 1994 to 2007. Camposano earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Chile.
