Richard B. Dasher

Richard B. Dasher is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology management, research, and consultancy. Currently serving as the Director of the US-Asia Technology Management Center at Stanford University and a founding partner of Global Hands-On Venture Capital, Dasher contributes to fostering innovation in the startup ecosystem. With a notable role on the Board of Directors for the World Sustainable Development Forum and the Japan Society of Northern California, Dasher promotes international collaboration and sustainable development initiatives. Additional past positions include management consulting focused on regional economic development and governance at Tohoku University, where Dasher was the first non-Japanese Board Director. Dasher holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stanford University, complemented by degrees in music and significant leadership roles across various organizations.
