Fatemeh Molaei

Fatemeh Molaei, Ph.D., EIT, currently serves as a Senior Research Advisor and Geotechnical Engineer at Stantec since May 2020. Previously, Molaei held the position of PhD Candidate in Rock Mechanics Engineering at the University of Arizona from August 2017 to October 2021, and completed a geotechnical engineering internship at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation in the summer of 2019. Molaei's experience also includes a role as a Mining Engineer at Gkp, where feasibility studies were conducted for various projects, and work at the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute focused on feasibility studies and commercialization. Molaei began a career in market research as a consultant for Negar-Andish Consulting Engineer Company. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geomechanics from the University of Arizona, a Master's degree in Geotechnics from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and two degrees from the University of Tehran: a Master's in Rock Mechanics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mining and Mineral Engineering.
