Jon Ramsey

Jon Ramsey is a seasoned aquatic ecologist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Principal Aquatic Ecologist at Stantec since December 2021. Prior to this role, Jon held a similar position at Southern Water from November 2019 to December 2024 and worked as a Senior Aquatic Ecologist at WSP in the UK between November 2017 and December 2021. Jon has also served as a Senior Ecological Consultant at Amec Foster Wheeler, a Biodiversity Technical Officer at the Environment Agency, and a Field Ecologist at SLR Consulting. Early in Jon's career, valuable experience was gained as an Assistant Ecologist at BSG Ecology and as a temporary District Lock and Weir Keeper at the Environment Agency. Jon's academic background includes an MSc in Ecology and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Sciences from Oxford Brookes University.
